The visit
Your host walks you through the different parts of the farm, showing both our cultivation and our cultural heritage sites. There is time to ask questions, take pictures and have breaks. Bring clothes suited for the weather. Ponchos are given at the farm in case of rain.
The tour lasts roughly two hours, and consists of walking around the farm with a seated portion at the end. Pizza and/or spekemat is an optional add-on for the remaining time, but must be ordered in advance. Fruit, juice and cider can be ordered on site. If there is more fruit left in the orchards, you can buy a basket to pick your own assortment of treats.
Want food?
Order on site and we'll serve it to you. Everything is local: the fruit and juice come straight from our own farm, and the cider from producers here in Hardanger. Served while stocks last.
A stone-baked pizza, straight from our wood-fired stone oven out on the farm. Choose your pizza when you book, and we'll have it ready after the tour.
A board of traditional Norwegian spekemat, with cured meats, cheese and flatbread. One board per person, though it's easily shared.
What's on the plate varies with season, depending on what local produce is available during your visit.
Transport
Due to the road up to the farm not being very equipped to handle too much traffic, we provide transport to and from the farm. The transport is already included in the price you see.

Stand in the large parking lot of Hotel Ullensvang, close to the Kompaen bistro. Your vehicle can only be parked here if you're a guest of the hotel.
