The visit
Your host walks you through the different parts of the farm, showing you both what we grow and our cultural heritage sites. There's plenty of time for questions, photos and breaks along the way. Dress for the weather. If it rains, we'll hand out ponchos at the farm.
The tour starts with a walk around the farm, which takes an hour or so, and the rest of the visit is seated. Pizza and/or spekemat is an optional add-on for this part, but must be ordered in advance. Fruit, juice and cider can be ordered on site. If there's still fruit in the orchards, you can buy a basket and pick your own.
Hungry?
Order on site and we'll serve it to you. Everything is local: the fruit and juice come straight from our own farm, and the cider from producers here in Hardanger. While stocks last.
Baked in our wood-fired stone oven out on the farm. Choose your pizza when you book, and we'll have it ready after the walk.
A platter of traditional Norwegian spekemat (cured meats), with cheese and flatbread. One platter per person, though it's easily shared.
What's on the platter varies with the season and with what local produce is available during your visit.
Transport
The road up to the farm isn't built for much traffic, so we drive you there and back. Transport is included in the price.
